Description of Work:
Anchor Construction was brought on by the DDOE to construct two, comparative rainwater harvest reuse systems to capture storm water runoff from D.C. firehouses #3 and #25’s roof downspouts and store incisterns to meet the specific needs of each firehouse.
Major work included:
- Installation of advanced harvest controlled systems
- Full depth permeable paving overflow area on one site
- Friction course permeable paving overflow area on one site
- Components for long-term monitoring of flows and water quality
