Description of Work:

Anchor Construction was brought on by the DDOE to construct two, comparative rainwater harvest reuse systems to capture storm water runoff from D.C. firehouses #3 and #25’s roof downspouts and store incisterns to meet the specific needs of each firehouse.

Major work included:

  • Installation of advanced harvest controlled systems
  • Full depth permeable paving overflow area on one site
  • Friction course permeable paving overflow area on one site
  • Components for long-term monitoring of flows and water quality
