MD 223 Bridge over Branch of Potomac River
Partnering – Project Under $5 Million Award
Anchor Construction Corporation was awarded an Award of Excellence from MdQI Partnering Under $5M Award for the MD 223 Bridge over Branch of Potomac River.
MDOT SHA closed the bridge back in June 2019 and was completed by September 2nd. Anchor Construction removed the existing single-span concrete-slab bridge and constructed a new single-span, two-lane concrete slab bridge. Recognized at the award ceremony for the limited time frame given, and collaborative execution with MDSHA, the project was able to be completed on time.
