This project involved the replacement of gas lines, installation of underground storm sewer, sanitary sewer rehabilitation, stream restoration, retaining wall installation, bio-retention pond and ditch installation, street light conduit and pole installation, and permeable pavement trail installation in the Klingle Valley area of Washington, D.C. This project was originally completed in 2017, however a sever thunderstorm shortly after completion caused DDOT to reevaluate the drainage capacity in one area of the trail. It was decided that a larger 54” drainage pipe needed to be installed, this work began in July of 2019 and completed in July of 2020.
